SMS Consent

Purpose

Mindhop, Inc. operates internal systems that may send automated or semi-automated text message notifications to employees regarding production support incidents, service disruptions, or other operational events that require timely awareness to perform assigned technical or operational support responsibilities.

Participation in text message notifications is voluntary and limited solely to job-related communications.

Scope

This opt-in applies only to employees whose role includes on-call, escalation, monitoring, or production support responsibilities, whether on a scheduled or ad-hoc basis.

Purpose of Messages

By opting in, you may receive text messages that include, but are not limited to:

  • Production incidents or service outages

  • Urgent system alerts requiring attention or awareness

  • Escalation notices related to customer-facing or internal systems

  • Follow-up or resolution notifications related to the above

  • Messages are not marketing, promotional, or non-work-related communications.

Consent

By signing this agreement, you:

  • Voluntarily consent to receive work-related text messages from Mindhop systems

  • Consent is voluntary, not a condition of employment. If you choose not to receive SMS alerts, Mindhop will work with you to establish an alternative communication method appropriate for your role

  • Acknowledge that standard messaging and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier

Revocation of Consent

You may revoke your consent at any time by:

  • Messaging STOP to the message sender, or

  • Notifying your manager or HR in writing

Revocation will be processed within a reasonable timeframe. Revoking consent may require alternate communication arrangements if text messaging is integral to your assigned support duties. For assistance, text HELP to the message sender

Data Use and Privacy

  • Your phone number will be used only for production support and operational notifications

  • Phone numbers will not be shared externally or used for non-business purposes

  • Messages may be logged for operational, audit, or compliance purposes
